Golden Ring of Moscow

This excursion is an opportunity to see some of the most interesting places in Moscow.  Voroboyovy, or Sparrow Hill is the highest point in the city and affords an excellent view of most of the city.  Nearby is Moscow State University, the “Harvard” of Russia. 

Poklonnaya Gora, or Bowing Hill, and Victory Park is the home of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War which celebrates the Soviet victory over Germany from 1941-1945.  The nearby Triumphal Arch is dedicated to the Russian victory over Napoleon after his 1812 invasion.
